Lisa Mitchell - Valium

I can't get enough of this girl's songs at the moment. I'm jealous too but in a good way.

Shark vs Octopus

Sorry about the voiceover guy, he's pretty annoying. Turn the sound down and enjoy:

I'll post more of the same soon. I could watch these all day.

Mick Jackson - Weekend

I was informed by email recently that one of my past posts was factually innaccurate. Mick Jackson who did the original Blame it on the Boogie was not a one hit wonder but infact a two hit wonder. This was his second hit Weekend. Enjoy!

Kate Rusby - Who Will Sing Me Lullabies

This song is lovely. I put this on a mixtape once but it's a wee bit soppy, at least that's why I argue it all went tits up. Great song though.

Dawson Sings The Blues

Lots of teenagers used to watch Dawson's Creek. Very few of them made it as far as the last episode. Mostly because it took them a bit of time to work out that Dawson's Creek was a bit gay. This is the exact point at which I turned it over and never turned it back.

No wonder Pacey dumped Andie after this embarrasment of a night out.

Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me

This is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard in a movie. It's from the movie Fire Walk With Me which is a prequel to the cult series Twin Peaks.

Mick Jackson - Blame It On The Boogie

Apparently this guy was here first. Who knew?

I watched a documentary the other night about how this guy's career never really took off because of the Jacksons but it stopped their careers going down the plug hole.

A trade off of sorts.
